The first user beamtime was concluded at the solid state end station.

Solid state endstation was installed.



We installed low density grating in July. Now we have received first light on it and measured spectrum of first harmonic at 4.417 eV (EPU gap was 14 mm).

The FinEstBeAMS has the multiparticle coincidence spectroscopy capability combining ion 3D momentum resolution with energy-resolved electron detection.

First Total Ion Yield  spectrum measured at FinEstBeAMS Gas-phase endstation. Ring current was 135 mA. Nominal slit size was 50 micrometers.
