MAX IV @ KTH Workshop
Workshop: HOW CAN KTH RESEARCHERS BENEFIT FROM MAX IV?
MAX IV organised an online workshop at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in June 2021 (15-17 June; afternoons 13.30-16.30h).
The initiative has been led by the User Office at MAX IV in collaboration with the current FASM chairman and KTH Professor, Dr Jonas Weissenrieder. We aimed to reach with this event new potential users without previous experience with synchrotron characterisation to show them the potential of the facility and how can their research benefit from MAX IV. Moreover, we hoped to engage existing users to discuss key points necessary for preparing a successful proposal that will allow them to be granted beam time. Additionally, students and early-stage researchers were encouraged to participate as we hope they might be future MAX IV visitors. The participants had the opportunity to interact with our staff, pose questions and discuss specifically the analysis that can be performed with their samples.
We would like to thank all the participants for showing interest in the facility and hope to meet them in the future at MAX IV beamlines.
