Sweden uses the Swedish Krona, not the Euro, and nearly all places accept card payment.
Safety test and to apply for an access card
Before your visit at MAX IV, it is important that you apply for an access card in DUO. This must be done before every beamtime at MAX IV, even if you already have an access card from a previous visit. This is for us to know which users to expect for arrival for each day even if the user is arriving outside of reception hours.
Before getting access to MAX IV, you also need to go through our safety test. This is also to be done in DUO. As of 1 January 2020, there is only one safety test (called safety test for users) for all beamlines.
In the basement of the E-building there is a gym and a resting room. On the 4th floor of the E-building you can find a “library”, mostly used for spontaneous meetings.
Please ask at reception for direction.
