Accepted BAG proposals are valid for four beamtime cycles (two years)

How to submit a BAG proposal in DUO

  1. Make sure there is an open proposal call accepting BAG proposals.
  2. Choose Proposal Type BAG
  3. Choose Research Area Structural Biology, Beamline BioMAX.
  4. Use the special BAG Proposal Template.

 

Please note: When applying for BAG proposals please remember to add the total amount of shifts needed for the whole validity period of two years.

BAG reporting instructions

Half year reports

Continued validity of accepted BAG proposals is subject to regular reporting by the BAG coordinator every six months.
Please use the BAG “half year” reporting template and submit through the Experimental Report function in DUO.
Submission deadline: The same as the general user call deadlines, i.e. mid-March and mid-September.

Final report

Towards the end of the BAG project (two years) a last and final report is required.
Please use the 
BAG “final report” template and submit through the Experimental Report function in DUO.
Submission deadline: for the final report is the same as the general user call deadline in mid-March.

 

Please make sure to always upload all publications resulting from experiments at MAX IV to the DUO Publication Database and to link them to the relevant proposal ID and Beamline. And don’t forget the mandatory acknowledgement for MAX IV and staff.
